- QIC-40/80 & SERVO-WRITE TAPE DRIVES SUPPORTED:

- These drives are all supported beginning with Version 6, except where noted.
- They all use the DC-2000 style "Mini Data Cartridge" tapes.

- TAPE ADAPTER CARDS SUPPORTED:
- Cards that connect between the Primary Floppy Disk Controller and the Floppy
- Disk and Tape Drives. These cards are automatically detected so no I/O
- Address parameter or configuring is required.

- SECONDARY FLOPPY TAPE CONTROLLER CARDS SUPPORTED (BASE-IRQ-DMA):
- If using a tape drive with a Secondary Tape Controller Card, the I/O Port
- Address, IRQ Channel, and DMA Channel must be specified with the /ADDR=base-
- irq-dma parameter (support added in V6, 5/2/90) to the backup command or in
- Define Equipment/Configure (beginning in Version 7.) This information should
- be available in the controller card manual. ** indicates support for /RATE=1,
- 1Mb parameter.

- Colorado QIC-40/80: **FC-10 Jumperless (180-3-2 default, support
- added in V7.0); **TC-15 Jumperless --ISA not Microchannel--
- (180-3-2 default. Support for card but not on-board
- compression added in V7.1.) The "settings" on these
- jumperless cards may change depending on other system
- hardware and software run and may be different in DOS or in
- Windows. Try 180-6-2, 370-5-3, 300-6-1, or others.

- SCSI & QIC-02/36 TAPE DRIVE SUPPORT:

- These drives are supported beginning with Version 8, except where noted. The
- drives marked as QIC-02/36 are only supported on a Novell file server with the
- NLM/VAP extension to CP Backup. The SCSI drives are officially supported when
- attached to an Adaptec SCSI controller (152x, 154x, 164x, 174x), though they
- may work with other controllers as well.

- To be officially supported, a drive must go through a series of tests. The
- following drives have not undergone these tests so are not officially
- supported. However, users and/or testers have reported good luck with them
- and they will likely be officially supported in the future.
